Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic and experienced teacher of Chemistry/Science. I graduated from University of Bristol in 2004 with an honours degree in Chemistry.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching in the state and independent sector for 3 years. Since achieving QTS status I have taught the full range of sciences up to GCSE with experience of several exam boards. In addition I have taught A level and IB Chemistry.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the approach taken during tutoring sessions depends on the individual students' needs and the timescale involved for the tutoring sessions. If only a short amount of time is available before sitting exams it is important to focus on exam technique and past paper questions. If more time is available we can develop a structured plan that based around the student needs and weaknesses starting with the basics.

I am an enthusiastic teacher who likes a relaxed atmosphere with tutees so they feel comfortable enough to ask questions.
