Personal Description:
Experience in business management and in writing for pleasure and for money I combine business planning techniques with creative flair to deliver unique courses in Creative Writing from the bsics upwards. I can tailor courses, seminars and workshops to specific group needs as well as providing off-the-peg courses for colleges.
I can also deliver on-site training in writing skills for business people - punctuation, phraseology etc
Teaching Experience:
Three years exoerience teaching Creative Writing in local adult education college as well as extensive experience in delivering training in business. Have also conducted workshops for writing groups.
Tutoring Approach:
Paying due regard to different learning styles I use a variety of activities and techniques to inspire and motivate. We study how successsful writers 'do it' and use extracts from poetry, novels, short stories and non-fiction works to demonstrate.
