Personal Description:
I am a post-graduate from Kent University in Canterbury, where I am currently living. I have a keen interest in literature and cinematography and have graduated with an honours degree in English and Film Studies. I have also studied at Brighton Film School and have experience in directing short films and writing scripts on a freelance basis.
Teaching Experience:
My teaching experience has been informal but productive, from working volutarily with teenagers with learning difficulties, through to young men who were not able to learn about reading and writing as children.
Tutoring Approach:
I know from experience that the best and most interesting (both for tutor and tutee) method of teaching is not through rhetoric but through increasing the tutee's understanding and therefore reasoning of any given subject. I am friendly, polite and extremely patient, happy to tutor both children of a primary or secondary school age.
