Music Student in Scotland , will be furthering Music Performance studies in England as of September 07
Young, motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and honest
Offer vocal tuition to potential vocalists from primary age to around 14 years old. Also cater for adults looking to start out casual singing lessons as a hobby.
Teaching Experience:
Previously employed by my vocal teacher as a Drama Assistant for children age 5 - 12
As i am still studying myself, tutoring has only just been seen as a possible extra source of work.
As i have completely an NC in Music, i hold basic theory knowledge and through my own vocal lecturer hold valuable knowledge of the voice which i am extremely keen to pass on to others.
Tutoring Approach:
I would begin by discussing with the student what they hope to achieve through the tutoring and take things from there.
Can help out with basic music theory where needed.
Vocaly - light physical warm ups.
- short vocal exercises at beginning of every lesson
- explore different genres of music to find where the student really thrives and gains most
enjoyment out of singing
- after time , notice obvious progression within the student
- both myself and the student should be willing to research and find more repetoire to learn
regularly
Most of all, hope the student enjoys the lesson and finds it rewarding. My approach will be enthusiastic, helpful and hope to see success within classes.
