Personal Description:

I am an experienced teacher who has been teaching for 30 years and have tutored for most of those.



Teaching Experience:

I would be able to provide you with plenty of revision tips and study techniques as well as giving you a good indication of what the SQA expects of candidates in the final exam.



Tutoring Approach:

Although I cannot guarantee it, my pupils generally are able to upgrade by about 20% - as long as they are willing to do the hard work involved.

I generally work in parallel with the schoolwork - I do not like to interfere with the teacher's methods. This also means that I cover ALL the syllabus thoroughly.

All my tuition is online at the moment My standard private rate is £50.00 per hour for one-to-one tuition at a student's. This includes all of my preparation time and any exam papers or other materials used. I will also recommend the purchase of some revision and problem books.
