Personal Description:
I am a french native speaker, I have been in edinburgh since the beginning of July. I am friendly, patient and dynamic, I do enjoy sharing my knowledge of the french language. I have the capacity to adapt myself easily to make people feel comfortable in their learning.
Teaching Experience:
I have been helping children with difficulties in a french secondary school for two years. I was in charge of several groups of pupils aged from 11 to 16, I was teaching different subjects, such as history, english, maths, french, geography. My aim was to find a way to make the pupils understand what they had missed in their courses.
I have been working with children for 8 years in different area; as a group leader, as a teacher, as a student in psychology, as a baby-sitter.
I have a french diploma in children care, I have a degree in psychology.
Tutoring Approach:
The best way to learn a language is to enjoy it, to feel it like a way to communicate with different people. I think it is really essential to like the way you are learning, that will make you improve quickly and easily!
I am able to give classical french courses but I really do think that tutoring is a place for something different. It seems to be the perfect time to practise french for real and to share all the knowledge of this language.
