During the last two years I have been teaching different courses at the University of Leicester, acquiring a strong experience in dealing with students. Hi, I'm David, I have been tutoring GCSE and A-level Chemistry with great success for the past 8 years.

I have experience working with all types of students, from those going for the very highest grades to those who are struggling and need something to boost their confidence.

I would be happy to arrange a discussion before any tutoring takes place to ensure that we are a good fit.

Teaching Experience:
I was Head of A-level Chemistry at a large Yorkshire Academy for 3 years, and a Teacher of A-level Chemistry for 4 years before that.

Tutoring Approach:
Due to currently living abroad, I tutor online, using a dedicated shared workboard and communication software like Skype.

I enjoy working with all kinds of students, and am very good at relaxing and boosting the confidence of my tutees. However I take a rigorous approach to my tutoring and expect a good work ethic from tutees.

I have never had a tutee achieve below their target for university admission.

I am a University Educated Native Spanish Speaker residing permanently in the UK since 2008. I am a professional translator with years of experience and also I have been working as a Spanish tutor in UK offering lessons from/to home, at schools and recently online as well.

I find it very rewarding and I enjoy helping others  to learn a new language or improve their knowledge and skills.

Teaching Experience:
Before coming to England  I worked as an English Teacher at a Secondary School in Cuba, my native country for and also taught the Spanish Language to English speaking adults who visited the country as tourists.

Since I started tutoring in England I have been teaching the language to adults and children giving me more  practical experience and ideas for using new and different ways to teach according to their personal skills and aims. I have also run Spanish clubs at primary schools in England.

Tutoring Approach:
I design my lessons specifically for you, working at your own speed and focusing on what you prefer the most, speaking, pronunciation, reading, listening, writing, vocabulary, grammar, conversation or other. I will develop a learning plan to suit each person's needs, goals and abilities. I enjoy teaching people of all ages and levels, beginners or more advanced.
