Hello! I am 47 years old, originally from Denmark and moved to the UK 20 years ago for my degree. Before teaching, I worked as a monkey veterinary technician in the US, conducted my Masters research on crop-raiding macaques in Indonesia, and helped to run a volunteer expedition in the Amazon. After a couple of years of teaching in secondary school as a Science and Spanish teacher, I heard the call of the wild again and travelled for a year through Mexico and Central America. I always try to explain everything clearly and stress the importance of asking questions about the subject no matter how unrelated they may seem at the time. I also make it my priority to use our time efficiently so that the maximum amount of knowledge can be taken away from the session.

I have access to premium Maths resources and also personally hand-write learning materials to provide the highest quality service possible. I also encourage those I tutor to message me throughout the week if they have a burning maths question they need help with, to which I will happily respond when I'm next available, whether this is by phone call, video call, or simply a message to answer a short question (all free of charge).

Self Defence is one of the skills I can teach and spatial awareness that are some of the many skillsets on offer

Teaching Experience:
After Teaching Children and Adults for over 9 years to pass on life-skills and knowledge . Have held weekly classes for groups , Private one to one sessions , corporate training programmes and also trained the armed forces too

Tutoring Approach:
I will always discuss what the student wants from the lessons and what they are hoping to achieve. Then can tailor the programme to suit their own requirements and set out a training plan to help them achieve their goals whether it is to learn some basics to developing skills to Black Belt level and beyond .
