My name is Ewan, I'm 36 years old and from Glasgow. After completing my BA (Hons) in Glasgow, I moved to Manchester to do a Master's in History; subsequently I completed my PGCE, MA in Education, and an MBA. Throughout this further study I have ran a History department, Humanities Faculty, and now run a Sixth Form College. On the second hand, I was working as support Spanish native teacher at the "Gniezno Institute" during the same academical year.

In conclusión, the last 2 years from 2015 I have been working as a native Spanish teacher in 4 different places, at the University in Spain, at Christian´s academy in the USA, at IBERIS online academy and Gniezno institute (Poland). And right now, I am working privately in Scotland.

I am an experienced full-time online tutor and homeschooling specialist based in London with a 100% pass rate in Maths and Science. For over ten years I have helped young people navigate life successfully through primary, secondary and sixth form through mentoring, private tuition and coaching. Teaching Experience:
I have experience with all the major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas). Within tuition, my specialities lie in Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and GCSE. I also prepare students for the 11+ entrance exams and the year 6 SATs. I also work with schooled students (& those taking the IGCSE), students taking retakes and private candidates (students not at sixth-form/college, but still registered for courses and taking exams). My experience also includes working with children with learning difficulties and SEN-Special Educational Needs (especially Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia and Aspergers).

In 2022 I completed my Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and teach ESL, preparing students for exams such as IELTS and any English exams aligned with the CEFR which are commonly required for entry into international schools or university applications from overseas / non-English speaking countries. I also speak Spanish at CEFR A2 level.

Upon commencement I can;

• Carry out a thorough academic evaluation - this can be an extremely powerful tool for providing insight into your child's academic performance, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses.
• We can then work together to ensure that strengths are built upon, while weaker areas can receive the appropriate level of attention in order to improve further
• Signpost to the best tools and resources based on your specific needs, as well as create bespoke ones if needed.
• Give an objective, specific and accurate assessment of the situation and provide a professional opinion on the best way forward for your child.
• Help create individualised learning plans, create a learning home schedule that works
• Design and develop bespoke courses (as well as National Curriculum aligned ones) for home-schooled students, private candidates and other students who may not be at school.
• Deliver said courses if necessary where possible, and for subjects we do not cater for help you find a suitable teacher or practitioner. I work with other teachers and tutors support your students needs.

My name is Kat, and I am a qualified nurse currently pursuing PhD study following working as a Practice Development Nurse at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

I live in the beautiful village of Brill, Buckinghamshire, with my 2 year old son, and my husband who splits his time between Brill and Germany. We enjoy being outside, music and eating good food.

I am a caring and organised educator committed to supporting students in a range of educational areas. I aim to create a stimulating and enjoyable online tutoring experience, promoting a positive and encouraging learning environment. My goal is for each student to not only enjoy learning but also to develop strong communication skills through a trusting and supportive relationship. I maintain regular communication with parents or caregivers and am happy to provide extra online assignments to reinforce learning between sessions.

Teaching Experience:
I am a fully qualified teacher entering my seventh year of practice, with experience teaching Year 2, Year 3, and Year 4. I can provide assessment support during sessions as needed. During my training, I gained valuable experience working with Year R, Year 2, and Year 4. I am also trained in SSP (phonics) and the Little Wandle program, enabling me to support early reading development effectively. Additionally, I have completed CPD training for the Year 4 multiplication check and can offer guidance and support in this area; my current Year 4 students achieved the highest results in the school this year. Beyond primary education, I have tutored students in foundation-level GCSE maths, using past papers to practise and analyse different question types.

Tutoring Approach:
I start by assessing each student's current level and discussing their specific areas of focus, either directly with them or with the adults in their household. From there, I tailor sessions to meet their individual needs. Each session incorporates a variety of activities designed to reinforce existing knowledge while introducing new concepts. Building a strong rapport with students is a priority, helping them feel comfortable and confident, which in turn supports their learning and progress.

I can also help address any learning gaps that may have arisen due to disruptions during the pandemic or any other missed learning reasons.

I've recently graduated from studying English at Exeter College, Oxford and have began teaching full time. I love reading, music, dancing and travel - mainly things that bring me closer to understanding and connecting with people. My main aim as a tutor is to ensure students leave my lessons with greater knowledge and understanding of the subject. Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Mairead (pronounced ma-raid, an Irish name meaning Margaret). I am a 26 year old living in Feltham, I work full time as a Disability Advisor and Autism Specialist Mentor supporting higher education students to access reasonable adjustments, provide pastoral support and advice. I also co-run workshops and events for the university I work for. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, spending time with my family, going to the gym, long walks and nature trails, swimming and arts and crafts. I am also a big fan of the cinema and watching the new films out. I graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2018, with a first class honours degree in Criminology and Sociology BSc. After graduation I became a support worker supporting those with mental health issues before my current role. I have recently completed a specialist mentoring qualification. I am content working full time currently, but may do a Masters or further study in future.

Please be aware for KS1 and younger tutoring my rates are £15 per session rather than per hour, to reflect that younger children may benefit from shorter sessions, but that their sessions will still need planning and admin work.

Teaching Experience:
I have created and delivered workshops for classes of up to 90 pupils from primary school aged to university level on a range of creative and academic topics. I also have experience tutoring 1-to-1 for primary school aged students who have disabilities/ special educational needs.
