I am a 26 year old living in Feltham, I work full time as a Disability Advisor and Autism Specialist Mentor supporting higher education students to access reasonable adjustments, provide pastoral support and advice. Teaching and examining English (TEFL), teaching EAP (English for Academic Purposes to post-graduates and PhD students), ESP (English for special purposes) courses.

Teaching business personnel in Japan and the EU soft skills (presentations, meetings and negotiations) and business issues (e.g. business plans, manufacturing, logistics, marketing practices, etc.),

Lecturing at universities in Hanoi and Kuwait on International business and e-commerce/e-business.

Tutoring Approach:
I use Kolbs learning cycle as a benchmark for my training/teaching. It is focused on learning through; observation, abstraction & reflection, experimentation (do & feel) and recycling (concepts, ideas, etc.). It is very practical and puts the learner at the heart of the learning experience. It also involves the motivation, interest and the curiosity of the learner, who may need stimulation, encouragement and to find leaning is fun and fascinating.

My lessons are both guided by the specific requirements of each course and personalized to meet the needs of each individual student. These two factors are fundamental to ensuring individual students utilize resources, build general, academic and practical competence to fulfil their requirements and exam grades. I believe having a clear 'road map', ensures students can reach their goals.

I am a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong background in social sciences, committed to making complex ideas accessible and engaging for students. With a First-Class Honours degree in Social Anthropology from a Russell Group university, Qualified Teacher Status, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (passed with distinction) specialising in Sociology and Psychology, I bring both academic rigor and a deep enthusiasm for the subjects I teach.

With over a decade of experience in education, I have had the privilege of working with students across diverse learning environments, tailoring my approach to meet individual needs and foster academic growth.
For 10 years, I worked as a teaching assistant in a private specialist provision, supporting young people with a range of complex needs. This role allowed me to develop a deep understanding of differentiated learning strategies, adaptive teaching methods, and the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive educational space. Working closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams, I honed my ability to navigate challenges with patience, empathy, and professionalism, ensuring that every learner felt empowered in their educational journey.
In the past 3 years, I transitioned into mainstream settings, specialising in GCSE and A-Level Psychology and Sociology under both Edexcel and AQA specifications. In this role, I have had the opportunity to lead students through rigorous academic content, equipping them with the analytical skills needed to engage critically with complex theories and real-world applications. My experience in mainstream education has reinforced my ability to deliver structured yet accessible lessons, bridging foundational concepts with contemporary examples to enhance engagement and understanding.

I am an experienced and approachable tutor with a strong subject specialism in Psychology and Sociology, dedicated to helping students maximise their academic potential. In my current role at a high-performance secondary sixth form, I facilitate targeted intervention sessions, supporting students in attaining higher grades by refining their understanding of complex topics and exam techniques.
My approachable nature and in-depth subject expertise allow me to build trust with students, ensuring they feel confident engaging with challenging material.
