Let me briefly describe you my past experience. I was born in Saint-Petersburg and graduated from Russain State University of Foreign Languages, I have a master's degree in teaching of modern languages. I have been working first at school, then privately for more than 15 years.

I started teaching Russian at Trent College in Derbyshire as an extra-curricular activity for a group of students in year 7-8 and 9, providing all the teaching materials and authentic programme. I covered all the main parts in terms of philology and diverse the lessons with curious facts about the country, traditions and customs. At the end of one term course, students had basic skills in reading and writing, they were able to introduce themselves and speak on common themes (hobbies, cuisine, travelling etc). I know what the language barrier is. I experienced the difficulties of moving into a new country and accepting a new culture.
I will be happy to become your learning companion and make your learning journey smooth.
I never stop learning myself. I work as an interpreter and, therefore, I constantly expand my knowledge in different spheres of life.

I have experience in tutoring beginner's Russian and I am happy to continue helping others learn this amazing language. Beginner's level is the foundation of your future success in communication.

My professional experience in the UK covers a great range of topics for discussions (finance, insurance, travel) which will boost your confidence in speaking. I try to tailor lessons to your interests, so that your memory works better by easily absorbing vocabulary and grammar structures.
