I am an experienced and skilled Tutor of French, Russian and English as a foreign language. I have been tutoring continuously on a part time basis for 12 years, typically working with 5 or 6 students at any one time. I have been teaching English, including Advanced level and English for specific purposes, for 29 years. I have Cambridge Advanced and Proficiency in English certificates as well as CELTA (grade B). A lot of my students successfully passed Cambridge First Certificate in English, Cambridge Advanced English and IELTS. Russian is my native language and I have taught it to people from many different countries.

Hello, my name is Liana. I will be very glad to be your Russian teacher. I have obtained a Teaching Degree in 1998. I have been working as a Russian language teacher at school in London for the past 15 years. I have been online for 3 years now. I am working with children: preschool, primary and secondary ages. I am preparing students for the GCSE exam and working with adults who are interested in Russian language. I like teaching, it is interesting, fun and I always try to help my students as much as possible so that they can speak Russian fluently. I know that we are all different, so an individual approach in my work is the most important thing. My students report that I am a kind, positive, active and supportive teacher. For my student, I try to be the best friend who will always understand and support them. The main goal of my work is that my student speaks Russian confidently and competently, they can write and reflect on various topics. In addition, they have understanding of the grammar of the Russian language. In my lessons I use a lot of different interesting literature, often I develop myself creative tasks on various topics (drawings, diagrams, crossword puzzles, mazes, etc.). I like being a creative teacher, since I myself write children's fairy tales. Sometimes in class, I use video tutorials with assignments for more joyful approach to language learning.
