Let me briefly describe you my past experience. I was born in Saint-Petersburg and graduated from Russain State University of Foreign Languages, I have a master's degree in teaching of modern languages. I have been working first at school, then privately for more than 15 years.

I started teaching Russian at Trent College in Derbyshire as an extra-curricular activity for a group of students in year 7-8 and 9, providing all the teaching materials and authentic programme. I covered all the main parts in terms of philology and diverse the lessons with curious facts about the country, traditions and customs. I have been teaching languages for more than 8 years. My specialisation is teaching adults. I am proud to say that I am truly passionate about my profession and what I do. Prior to moving to the UK, I was teaching English. I also have experience in preparing students for examinations at the University of Edinburgh.

I try to advance in my profession, constantly improving my materials, skills, methods, techniques, and knowledge. I make my own materials, flashcards and exercises. I also dedicate a fair amount of time to learning new methods, techniques and self-improving.

Tutoring Approach:
Place. I can offer one-to-one Russian language lessons in Dunfermline and online tutoring (via Skype) as well.
Materials. Books and resources are provided by me. You will also receive digital and/or printed materials and assignments. My students have access to my custom grammar and vocabulary flashcards for every lesson, that help you learn and memorise words more effectively. I am also collecting useful resources and websites, and I am happy to share that collection with you.

Personal Description:
I am a friendly and easy going person from St. Petersburg. I live in a small town in England with my family and two cats. We enjoy going on long walks In the countryside, cooking pies and watching movies. I am a highly enthusiastic and committed teacher and get the best out of my students. I am a creative and inspiring person. I have a positive attitude and this motivates students and builds their confidence.

Teaching Experience:
I have lived and worked in UK since 2000. I have substantial teaching experience working with children of all ages and their families. My working experience ranges from working in the children centres and pre-schools to working in a primary school. I enjoy teaching Russian and English to bilingual/ multilingual children at a weekend school.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe that communicative method is the best way forward. I use a variety of activities and tasks to make lessons engaging but challenging and productive. The lessons are tailored to you and your needs. Developing all language skills is important, however I am happy to be flexible and focus on what you need most- whether it is speaking or listening, reading or writing, improving vocabulary or pronunciation.
