I have spent several years living and working abroad, so this has given me quite an international outlook. A native Russian speaker, I have been living in the North East of England since 2014. In my spare time I enjoy learning Spanish, travelling, doing yoga, painting, and walking around the North Yorkshire moors.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching Russian from 2015 both online and face-to-face, school children and adults. My online students have passed the GCSE (A & A *). I have an interesting communication course for beginners.

Tutoring Approach:
The course will be designed according to your personal needs and goals. Online lessons are held via Teams. They are prepared on the Google slides and are always available to you. Lessons and homework include video and audio, texts and exercises.

I am a postgrad student in applied linguistics as well as an EFL teacher with a TEFL certificate and five years of online tutoring experience. I specialise on teaching general English and pronunciation (Modern RP/SSB) to adults.

I have been teaching online since 2018.

Tutoring Approach:
My lesson planning is based on communicative and lexical approaches to teaching foreign languages, and I pay particular attention to pronunciation and fluency. You can look forward to learning lots of new idioms and handy expressions that will make you sound more natural. There will be authentic audio, video and reading materials, and a lot of speaking practice.
