I am an Open University graduate having completed an BA(Hons) degree. For example, to introduce pictograms to numeracy entry level class, I got the learners to create 'human pictograms' arranged by name length, pets, eye colour, etc. and then transferred that information as pictograms to the board. Kinaesthetic learners were thereby catered for in the physical movement and manipulation, visual learners in the pictograms created on the board and audio learners as we discussed and interpreted the graphs.

Personal Description:
I am an English Literature graduate from the University of Edinburgh, graduating with First-Class Honours in July 2025. With A* grades in English Literature, History, and Art & Design at A-level, I have a strong academic background alongside experience in educational publishing and journalism as an editorial assistant and writing articles myself. I am passionate about education and enjoy helping pupils develop confidence in their learning.

Teaching Experience:
I have worked as a private tutor for children aged 5-16, supporting them across English, Mathematics, and Science at different levels of education and exam boards. My tutoring experience builds on several years of leadership and mentoring roles, from supervising youth choirs to coordinating university projects. These opportunities have strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles and create a supportive, engaging environment for pupils.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is patient and understanding, tailored to each individual pupil. Having recently graduated, I am fully up to date with school curriculums in both England and Scotland, understanding the challenges pupils face at different stages of their education.
