My qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in English Literature and the Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in English. My Initial Teacher Training covered all aspects of English and all abilities in the 11-18 age range. An experienced and skilled teacher of 20 years, I have worked with a wide range of age groups and am a skilled teacher across the curriculum - primary trained but also with significant experience beyond primary as a Maths specialist teacher. I have worked with both children who need support and those who are working significantly above expectations. I have had much success in developing skills, knowledge, understanding and confidence in my students and helping them to succeed and excel. A former Professor of Law at Cardiff University with over two decades of teaching and research experience at leading UK universities, and now the Coach and Tutor at Master's Degree Expert, she brings both intellectual depth and genuine care to her work.

Drawing upon her background as a scholar and educator, Nicky helps students build confidence, achieve clarity, and reach their full potential in academic writing, research, and critical thinking.
