During the last two years I have been teaching different courses at the University of Leicester, acquiring a strong experience in dealing with students. In particular during this and last year I have been teaching Latin and Ancient Greek to first year students. I will have a different approach according to the language I will be teaching. For Italian, I will use a communicative approach. This means that I will deliver just a minimum of grammar and I will use the target language as much as possible so that the student will learn the grammar implicitly. Tutoring Approach:
My approach can be that the tutee would be able to send the points that they wished to be addressed before the session, so that each session could be tailored to meet their needs, with any questions remaining after the session being answered in a subsequent email. Homework would be an optional reinforcement.

Alternatively, my approach to my current tutee, who has a textbook to work from is that I use the textbook and the exercises within to plan lessons and set homework much like in a school setting, with end of unit tests for each chapter.
