I have worked as a translator and now hold the position of Lead Teacher of Spanish with French at a secondary School. I also hold a qualification in Italian which together with my teaching experience in the country provide me with a deep Knowledge of the language.

I am an Open University graduate having completed an BA(Hons) degree. I chose my own programme of study which consisted of French,English Language Studies with GCSE/Standard grade Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. After my degree, I undertook an A-level/Higher Grade Maths course and GCSE/Standard Grade level Latin course to keep my study skills fresh and updated whilst complimenting my degree.

Prior to this, I under went a City and Guilds in Delivering Learning which taught me the vital skills required to be able to plan and construct lessons. In conjunction to this, I have also achieved my Level 1 certificate in British Sign Language.

A one-size-fits-all approach is NOT my thing. Every student has different needs and lessons need to be tailored accordingly.

We also have some fun with workshops about Italian & Cooking, Italian & Cinema, Italian & Music, Italian Grammar, & Italian Slang: days and time vary to suit participants' needs.

Thanks to my theatrical experience, my lessons for CHILDREN will include the use of 'puppets' and other activities to be decided time by time, according to the topic and tutees' needs.

Hi, I'm graduated in Poland with a multiyear experience of abroad studies (in Italy). Actually, I live not far from Glasgow, and I'm willing to teach in this area. My everyday life is quite busy and focuses on my 6-year-old daughter matters. I'm married to Italian men (native Italian speaker, but fluent also in Polish and in English as well), so my contact with Italian, Polish and English language is continuously maintained.

Teaching Experience:
I've started to teach for good in 2008 in Warsaw, where I've worked for many years as an Italian language teacher for several schools of foreign languages in Warsaw. Seeking for the better understanding of my students' learning problems I decided to study Pedagogy for Teachers. In 2009 I completed three-term post-graduated studies (including 155 h of teaching internship). Until 2016 I've continued my work as a teacher and translator in Poland for the companies with Italian personnel, after that, I've moved to Scotland. In 2017 I've applied for Polish School in Glasgow offering a place as a Teaching assistant in the preparatory class for 5-years old children. Currently I'm a Primary Teacher leading the P2 class at Polish School in Glasgow.
My latest linguistic project is the Italian language for travellers (The Hitchhiker's Guide to Italy) - A1 adult class, based on Arrivederci 1 handbook and by me written - Course story 'Andy di Glasgow in Italy' (series of conversations) and Recipes - based in Glasgow.

Tutoring Approach:
Teaching is my passion. In my work I'm focused on supporting learners, in individual and group courses as well, assigning various tasks (often practical) and appraising the effects of students' work. I am an outgoing person who loves working with adults and children. Furthermore, I am reliable, honest, punctual, and have great communication skills. Since I was a young student, I have been extremely passionate about Italian History, Philology, Culture and Traditions. I'm currently working at Parliamentary Groups of Sicilian Parliament (ARS) where, since 1993, I've been performing a proofreader role of legislative texts.
Considering the nature of my job, I have always had a keen interest in the Italian language, focusing on the linguistic structures in order to perform high skill levels in spoken and written Italian.
I'm also cooperating with various authors as a translator of books.

I am a professional singer, a music and singing teacher. I have conducted masterclasses and I won several singing competitions in Italy.
I have phoniatric experience which enables me to recognise voice issues and to keep my voice and my students' voices healthy. This phoniatric experience enabled me to gain a deep knowledge of voice anatomy and physiology, to ensure a healthy voice emission and to work on voice education.

Teaching Experience:
I worked as a music and singing teacher for several music academies, middle schools and high schools to A level exam syllabus. The main subjects I held: general music, modern and opera singing, Body awareness, history of music, chamber music, solfeggio and rhythm.
I am now working as a musical director for a theatre company.
I am now also holding on line vocal coaching lessons.
