I've got plenty of tips and tricks to help with the most difficult parts of grammar and syntax. I am licensed to teach Greek as a second/foreign language in Greece.
I have completed two Bachelor's Degrees in "English and Greek Studies" and "German and Greek Studies" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
I have also completed a Master of Arts in "German Philology: Theory and Applications" at the same university, specializing in "Interfaces between Linguistics and Didactics".
I am also TESOL-certified from the Arizona State University, and have an additional certification in "Teaching Greek as a Second or a Foreign Language" from the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.

- More than 15 years of teaching/tutoring experience
- Teaching assistant for the courses "Introduction to Language Didactics I", "Introduction to Language Didactics II" and "Introduction to Academic Writing" as a post-graduate student at the Department of German Language and Literature, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
- Internship at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens' Foreign Language Teaching Centre for the English language
- Internship at the Goethe-Institute Athens for the German language
- Test invigilator for the British Council and the Goethe-Institute Athens

Tutoring Approach:
I base my lessons on the learners goals, needs and preferences.
I also base the lessons in graded textbooks, while I steadily provide extra educational material and handouts.
I also teach the language for the business environment.
I am using a mix of language teaching methods and I apply them to communicative activities.
My language teaching is based on the EU-Standards (the CEFR guidelines for the levels), so I can prepare the learner for any language certification exams.

Welcome to my Greek online classes!
My name is Christina and I am a qualified and native Modern Greek Teacher. I hold a BA in Classical Studies, an MA in Education from University College London along with a QTS certificate.
I offer Modern Greek language courses for all learners of all ages from beginners up to near-native speakers and help them get ready for exams and/or certificates of attainment in Greek (levels A1 to C2), official qualifications recognised by the Greek Ministry of Education. I also organise specific classes for conversation and fast-track options.

Teaching Experience:
I have been working as a teacher for more than 10 years now. I have extensive experience with all age groups.
Having taught Greek as a second language in Greek Schools of London and at the Hellenic Centre, I have moved to a Higher Education Institution where I train and mentor Academics as a consultant to improve their teaching practices.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach varies depending on the student's learning style. All classes are learner-centered and tailored to your needs.
Over the years I have created a rich library of authentic resources that aim to stretch your skills in every language aspect.

My name Is Emma and I am 29 years old.
When I was 8 years old, I moved to Corfu, Greece without any knowledge of the language. I quickly learnt the language whilst attending a Greek school.
I came back to the UK to do my GCSE's in which I paid extra to do a Greek GCSE and I gained an A in this.

Teaching Experience:
I have no teaching experience however I am an easy going, confident and caring person who can go at your own pace and teach you things that you would like to know.

Tutoring Approach:
The first session I would engage with you to find out a bit about yourself and what you would like to achieve in our lessons. I would then create lessons and create you some homework.

I am approachable and am happy to do refreshes of the previous lesson.
