I am a PhD student, undertaking my doctorate in Environmental Sciences, with a focus on soil nutrient cycling and nutrient transport to surface and ground waters. I completed my BSc in Physical Geography at the University of Exeter and gained first class honours in this.

Teaching Experience:
I carried out teacher training at a basic level with the University of Exeter in order to participate in the Students Associates Scheme. I understand that every brain works differently so novel approaches must be tried to find out what works for each specific student. I would only ever set light homework simply because I feel that it is useful for reinforcing what has been taught between lessons. Additionally, I am happy to provide additional support to any Tutees on writing of personal statements for university, and advice on courses/university options, and any other topics! I'd rather provide holistic support, avoiding siloed and narrow approaches to teaching.
