I have an MA in Classical Philology and Russian Studies from the University of St Petersburg and am qualified to teach Russian, French, English and Latin. Since graduating in 1978 I have worked extensively in language teaching and translation / interpreting. I have also worked in France for 3 years and attended an interpreting school in Paris (ISIT - Institut Superieur d' Interpretation et de Traduction). Tutoring Approach:

I am an enthusiastic psycholinguist, currently completing her masters project on language acquisition. I enjoy exploring language in all levels in terms of learning, teaching and doing research. I am also interested in the evolution of natural languages. I also have simultaneous translation experience from Turkish to English and vice versa. I am quite friendly and understanding. I have been giving private English lessons to adults and worked as a nursery teacher by using psychological methods. I also moderated lessons & discussions about Cognitive Science.

Hello! I'm Hannah. I am a languages student studying Spanish and Modern Standard Arabic and I have a passion for my subject. I love to travel and am currently living abroad in Barcelona. I understand how it feels to learn a new language and want to help make the process as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for you!

Teaching Experience:
I have spent time volunteering in Tanzania, Africa, where I taught English in schools to young children. I have also been a Spanish teacher in England in a both a secondary school and primary school.

Having experience as a language teacher, I know how to incorporate the specific interests of my students into the lesson to keep it engaging.
