I like to focus on course based lessons using text book material as it is generally a more structured approach. I often include additional practice work sheets from my own resources. I encourage free conversation in my classes and always use error correction during feed back at the end of the class.

I've been working with languages for many years, first as a translator and then as an English teacher. I speak two foreign languages myself (Spanish and Catalan) and so I understand exactly what things you might find difficult when you are learning English.

I am TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualified.

I have helped many people from different countries to improve their English. I have worked with all levels from complete beginners to advanced learners. I have a TEFL qualification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and I have been working with languages for many years. I have experience teaching both in-person and online.

I am a friendly and easy going person from St. Petersburg. I live in a small town in England with my family and two cats. We enjoy going on long walks In the countryside, cooking pies and watching movies. I am a highly enthusiastic and committed teacher and get the best out of my students. I have lived and worked in UK since 2000. I have substantial teaching experience working with children of all ages and their families. My working experience ranges from working in the children centres and pre-schools to working in a primary school. I enjoy teaching Russian and English to bilingual/ multilingual children at a weekend school.

I believe that communicative method is the best way forward. I use a variety of activities and tasks to make lessons engaging but challenging and productive. The lessons are tailored to you and your needs. Developing all language skills is important, however I am happy to be flexible and focus on what you need most- whether it is speaking or listening, reading or writing, improving vocabulary or pronunciation.

Hi, I'm Meg and I'm currently a student at York St John University studying English Language, Linguistics and TESOL in my second year. I'm 20 years old and have a love for languages and I'm in the process of self studying Korean and Japanese!

Teaching Experience:
I have tutored a number of my close friends in Korean as I've been learning via self study for close to 7 years and I have always had great feedback from them. But, I would love to expand my experience to of teaching to English to people, as I love sharing my own language with people. I'm currently studying TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at university and am eager to put my studies into practise.
