I am an enthusiastic psycholinguist, currently completing her masters project on language acquisition. I enjoy exploring language in all levels in terms of learning, teaching and doing research. My name is Laura, I live in Reading, England. I really enjoy helping people improve their English- it is so important to communicate well and I would like to help you do this with English lessons.

Outside of work I enjoy the outdoors- walking my dog, sailing or swimming in the sea :)

I have taught English as a foreign language for over 20 years- in language schools, abroad and on-line. I have worked with professionals who want to develop their career, refugees and asylum seekers who are settling in the UK and anyone who is keen to improve their English.

I used to be a physiotherapist in the NHS, so if you work in healthcare I can especially help with medical English.

Setting goals will help you get the most out of the lessons- you may want to pass an exam, apply for a job or improve your everyday language. We can have fun lessons to help you achieve these goals. I will set homework to help you learn inbetween lessons and achieve your goals more effectively. During lessons we can use videos, online articles, games and much more to keep the lesson interesting and fun.
