Most of my school and college education took place in Dudley (West Midlands) and I studied Biochemistry, at Leeds University (1975-8). I am married and have lived in Cheshire since Dec 1978. During my long service in the Pharma industry (~30 years), I have run many short courses and workshops. During 2005/6, I mentored a pupil (Year 10/11) at St. Peter's High School, Longsight, organised by the University of Manchester. I offer a tailored approach to the explanation of difficult concepts, and spend time going through past paper questions and mark schemes with an emphasis on exam technique. All lessons are fun and interactive with plenty of quizzes and questions. I keep an accurate learning record for my students to ensure that we make the best use of every lesson. Being a teacher, I mark hundreds of mock papers each year and I'm kept up to date with the latest training from exam boards. It also means I have access to the best teaching and exam materials.
