Each student is different, and I feel it an insult to my students' integrity to tell them how to revise when first meeting them. Through my experience teaching, there is no right way to study, but there are a variety of 'better' ways to make the best grades for each person's potential.

I like to understand my clients' needs, their particular strengths and areas for improvement. I teach the topic in the best possible way to match their learning needs. The key is for them to understand the topic by linking to something which they previously now. This creates a connection in their brain to help them remember and understand the concept long-term. It is vital for students to truly get excited about the subject so by using real life examples, they can remember concepts more easily. I believe that tutoring should be individualized to the needs of individual students and so I do not take a blanket approach with tutoring and I prefer to discuss with my students to arrange a plan of support ideal to them. What I usually do is working 1 topic behind what they do at school and consolidating exam technique on those topics and revising them together or another way to is teach ahead of the syllabus so when they cover it in school it will be like revision for the student. I always begin with a game or a riddle just to get thinking cap on and then we will tackle a subject with an explanation and worked examples.

I am a critical care nurse and a mom of three , passionate to learn and share my knowledge and skills. I am very soft spoken, genuine and hardworking person who is always considerate to others. As a mom of a child with special needs I have learned the importance of teaching from known to unkonwn through individualised fun games and activities.

Teaching Experience:
I used to be a teacher at a nursing college in India.
