I am passionate about tutoring and have been teaching for over 10 years. I coach my students to enable them to perform to their full potential by empowering each individual. Tutoring is one of the most rewarding experiences and I love sharing my passion for learning with others. Every student has different needs and learns in a unique manner. I believe that therefore it is of utmost importance to tailor sessions to individuals and listen to their feedback. It is important to ensure that students understand the materials thoroughly and the logic behind it as this enables them to spot and correct potential future mistakes themselves. I like to pass on my enthusiasm and passion for the subject to my students to enable them to enjoy what they study and therefore reach higher goals.

I am a physics and maths teacher with 18 years teaching experience. I am passionate about helping pupils understand this fascinating subject so that they can reach their potential

Teaching Experience:
I have taught physics up and and including A level for 18 years. I have also taught maths up to GCSE for several years. I am a previous head of science & assistant headteacher. Previously, I have been an examiner for OCR Physics at A level and currently deliver the WJEC specification for students in Wales. I tutor pupils from all examination boards across the UK.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is to ensure students understand the areas of learning they are struggling with and build on that to ensure confidence in all areas of the course. I challenge pupils on what they already know to ensure it is correctly reinforced and their confidence grows. I tutor using reciprocal learning, where students are able to independently learn a topic and then have a tutorial style lesson where they reinforce that learning. Tutoring styles are always adapted to the needs of the learner which is very quickly established.

i use Microsoft team or skype and miro.com which is a board to explain on and share with the student. past papers are shared on the board to explain the technique of how to answer using online books for ks3 ,GCSE and A level .

i make student feels relaxed and ask the student what are the topics to go over a day before the lesson and so i prepare notes ,powerpoints and question to go over with the student
