I studied architecture then moved into the world of film and commercials as a set designer,training at the BBC and moving into the freelance world working on Films and Commercials (Production Design,Art Direction and Set Dressing).Drawing skills have always been central to my varied art and design career .
In film I collaborated with a variety of creatives including directors ,lighting,costume,makeup,special effects designers,which was enriching and inspirational.Then I began to paint for other designers on their projects and my artwork became a larger part of my work.

I have been a loyal student to BCU, where I obtained, both my Fine Art degree and my MA in Art and Education Practice. Planning for my PhD research study too. This post will help me through my research and will give me a good access to both teaching and research. I have been looking for this opportunity to teach alongside my PhD study.
I became a practicing artist and researcher in the subject of Britishness and modern values since 2003. Working from my studio as well as researching . I primarily teach young people preparing for art portfolio presentations and university entrance exams. I make a policy to teach from life using the traditional teaching methods and techniques of the great masters from the Italian Renaissance as this is how I was educated. I teach my students to understand and use perspective, relationships, contrasts and composition. I teach any level of art student following an initial portfolio review. This portfolio review helps me see previous drawings students have done which helps me understand how to construct our lessons in order to achieve success.

It's not something for finished works. It's your space to experiment, to discover, but also to fail and make mistakes.

Hi! My name is Claudia, I'm a 26 year old artist, illustrator, and mum of one.

I work part time in a secondary school/sixth form as an art technician and a large part of my role is assisting our wonderful students with their projects.
