My approach is not to give answer to students but help them achieve this by guiding them to understanding the situation. I want people to learn to apply their knowledge and not just memorize it. I have had a lot of success with my private tutoring, having helped many students achieve the grades they need to gain entry to the university courses of their choice - including medicine, veterinary medicine and dentistry.

Tutoring Approach:
My main focus has been tutoring and teaching A level Biology and more recently Psychology.and have been very successful in helping students of all abilities to improve their grades to allow them to make their next step in their education.

My strengths are that I have very good communication skills and put students at ease allowing for the greatest progress to be made.

I focus on two main areas. Firstly in breaking down theory areas to make it understandable. I get students to learn key words and use revision spider diagrams to see the overview of difficult topics so they don't get lost in the theory. Then I use these spider diagrams to help them select accurately the correct theory areas to answer exam based questions.

Secondly I focus on exam technique, deconstructing questions to focus on how to structure an answer and then to select the correct theory to use in the answer.

B). Tutoring programme: setting up and organising a tutoring programme for several lessons that will cover, systematically, a larger area of the subject.

C). Revision programme: creating a revision programme with the student and managing the students revision programme in the subject (s). This will take the student up to the exam.

I am 20 years old, I'm a native speaker of french. I moved over to France at the slender age of 12 and I lived there for 7 years, I have taken my french equivalent GCSE's and A-level's in France. I am currently working as a teaching assistant in a high school for Key Stage 3/4 and I provide extra french curriculum activities for the student's depending on their abilities and their age. I'm also currently at Open University getting my French degree.

I am currently working at a High School in Dewsbury as a Teaching Assistant with Key Stage 3 and Key stage 4 student's. Once a week I have French activities put in place after school for those who want help with their french homework or have course work or would like to improve on their French.

I know myself how hard it is to learn another language, so depending on their age and abilities, I will provide a different range of fun activities/lessons that will help them to progress in French. I have excellent training qualifications and have been accredited by Microsoft multiple times throughout my career; these accreditations include Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Instructor, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Office Specialist Master, and Microsoft Office Specialist Expert. I also have a Professional Graduate Certificate of Education in Post Compulsory Education, ECDL Expert, an IITT Accreditation from the British Institute for Learning and Development for training delivery and I am qualified A1 Assessor.

I offer set training courses which are currently offered on a half or full day basis, or courses can be custom built to meet the needs of the user and I can also offer facilitating whereby time can solely be dedicated to one person to assist them with any specific problems they are having.

My training career has including working in colleges, training onsite and many years working for a local authority where I trained many staff on Microsoft, and the Agresso Financial System. My name is Nikki and I am an experienced primary teacher and Assistant Headteacher at an Outstanding school in London. I graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver in 2010 with a BSc in Natural Resources Conservation.
