This book has everything you'll need to know for your Maths GCSE exam! I kid you not!Everything from devising useful methods of retaining formulas to the little misconceptions.I personally thought that it was going to be boring like the books the school gives you, but no!They use ironic sentences and clichés to make you want to read more & learn more!This book is 5* material, no doubt about it.p.s: I used GCSE English to help me write this comment properly! For example: this sentence would of been written something like this: I used the book to help me write what im writting now.Get the book and you'll see the minor errors. They may be small, but they'll get you you're English GCSE exam! Promise.

This revision guide is an amazing product produced by CGP! It covers everything you need to know for the exam in a more colourful, bright and fun way to engage you and make learning this quite hard subject of Maths so much easier. Sometimes teachers don't cover all of the criteria for the exam, but this book makes even the harder bits so simple to interpret. It comes with practise questions too to test what you have learnt on the page as well. Strongly recommend it. It definitely helps those who aren't strong in Maths: like me! This provides useful if you are doing Maths Studies for IB too!!

Explanations are great for the most part, however some are confusing and don't give an in-depth analysis of the formula/sum.

my nephew had been struggling a little at school particularly in maths and on advise from my girlfriend (an ex teacher herself)bought this text book to help. it is proving very useful, not only for my nephew but my girlfriend's son and even myself!!i would recommend any parent to buy these in all the subjects their children study as a revision and reference aid. it is akin to having the teacher at home!!i wished i had been aware of their existance when i was at school!

Teaching math at a German school, I had been looking for a "summary" of maths for a long time. Now I've found! The most important rules, a lot of examples, written in a really good way. In the 10th form (last form before the exam in Germany) one can repaet the most important problems pupils have.The best reference for the book: Some of my pupils have already bought it for their personal preparation. And: they learn math and English at the same time!

Have not read one of these since school many moons ago (or so it seems) found it very helpful and helped me gain a B at GCSE maths...which is all I needed and was a good result as it is above a pass.Easy format and layout, filled with many examples and practice questions. Got the old brain ticking away and thinking.Would purchase this brand of book again.

Bought this to brush up on my maths (I'm 57) it was like reading a book in Arabic. However the girl next door who is doing her exams at the moment uses it and understands it.
