This book is excellent as a revision aid. Its content is specific to the syllabus and when used with the subject textbook, makes up very good exam revision material. Used for Edexcel Modular GCSE exams (360 Science).Also bought the subject specific CGP books for the other sciences and for Maths.Please note: The CGP books for core science and additional science contain identical material to that in the individual subjects therefore if studying separate sciences do not buy core and additional science books.

Covers the Edexcel 360 course really well. Easy to understand and easy to use. I bought this and The Lonsdale revision and classroom companion.

Due to having a not very good teacher at school, all my revision was using this book and my textbook. And I got an A so I really recommend this book. It may not be the most interesting to revise from but if you put your head down to it, the condensed notes and jokey comments are pretty helpful.

As a GCSE student myself, I have recently purchased this physics book as part of my course under Edexcel. Albeit the rather large amount of information, it is certainly helpful for those doing Edexcel (since the information required for questions in exam does come up here). However, those doing Edexcel may find it difficult as you may find you have to really read it in-depth to coax out the answers to some questions. For P1A and other multiple choice questions, you will find the questions set from this book won't be helpful at all but as you move along, this book will become more helpful.Overall, it's a very informative book, for those doing triple science I advise you to buy the Biology and the Chemistry one, they will definitely be helpful. Do make sure you read the information very carefully and don't overlook some sentences etc.4/5
