We used to use these when I was teaching to prepare the children for SATs. This pack contains a full answer and instruction booklet, set A level 2 reading paper, spelling and level 3 reading paper. It also has a set B spelling and level 3 and 2 reading papers. These are all set out exactly like the real thing and most of the papers themselves are in colour. I would say that this is a good buy in order to prepare your child for SATS.

Outstanding. Even though it says it would not make your child better, it did make my son better at his reading comprehension questions. Goes up to level 3. Quite happy with my purchase and would highly recommend.

This is a good resource if your child is sitting their KS1 Sat's this academic year. It has two full sets of the reading and spelling tests for Level 2 and Level 3 Papers. They are laid out exactly how they will be in the actual exam, so your child will become familiar with them and there is a comprehensive answer booklet. The answer booklet also has lots of good tips on taking the exams more than once, timing them, etc. However, don't forget that your child will also have to do a writing test, comprising of both a long and a short writing task. There are lots of books on the market but, for the writing task, I found

Excellent well organised. I would however use these after doing exercises from a study book. These are in colour and not b/w photocopies.
