       Instant ideas for story writing!,

It can be difficult to get a student started on a story and inspire their imagination. I use this book one-to-one and it stimulates discussion, helps to plan a story providing a template for ideas. I am working through the ideas as they come in the book and so this gives us variety of the type of story that we can write, maybe horror tale, adventure, fable etc. After a lively chat about their ideas and a plan of the story it is then over to the student to produce it! Useful for a homework!
