This bright, colourful book is full of practice questions for 8-9 year old students studying KS2 English. It covers all of the word and sentence level topics in the National Literacy Strategy for year 4. Pleased with this book as it gives a good selection of exercises for supporting the development of writing and the mechanics of grammar, spelling etc. Some of the sentences are somewhat questionable e.g 'Geoffrey's sheep found him a pain.' but I used this a a talking point and we changed it to something sensible! The layout is clear and straight forward and I use it a lot when tutoring Year 4 children for literacy.

An easy to follow book, recommended to me by my daughters teacher to help her. Arrived quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Good book, my son does it independent and I can see he has improved. His spelling and grammar is getting better
