The Study Books are a good series of books for children studying for SATS exams, they are helpful to any Parent not knowing what exactly is covered at school and break the National Curriculum down into easier to understand sections in a fun way. The language used is not the best but it does lighten the tone instead of being serious and boring.Having bought the complete set for my son with hindsight I would have just stuck to the Study books without the Tricky Bit books as a lot of the work in them is duplicated in the Study book, the Study book has the advantage of question and answer sections in them as well.Buy the Study books with a set of practice SATS papers (Questions and Answers) and your child will gain confidence.Downside is that you then have to mark it all!.....

This has been helping my child to understand the topics much more easily. My child's confidence and understanding has grown and its all thanks to the authors who really provide the skills and tools. Absolutely fantastic.

If you are helping your child to improve on all aspects of written English then this is a great study book. If you are a parent and want to know exactly the types of things that are going to crop up on the Sats tests then this book shows you. The style is very friendly and there are lots of examples which are appealing to your student. The only, and minor, drawback is that at first glance it looks as though there is too much information on the page. However once you get into the key aspect it's not daunting as it covers every point needed. Well worth investing in.

These are great books to go along with the curriculum. Easy to understand and plenty of exercises to keep them busy. I was recommend these when my child was going through her sats by an ex teacher. I now have lots of different subjects for high school to help during lockdown. These have been brilliant to keep her on track.
