Bought this for when my son was in Year 5, last year. Easy rules for him to understand. He still uses it now in year 6 preparing for his SATS in two weeks. Every little push like this helps. I even reminded myself of some mathematical rules!

i love these books for my 9 year old daughter. we have been using this range for 18 months now and it has helped my daughter immensely and she is now in top group for maths. her mental maths skills are now much faster than mine. good range of maths in the books.

I am a home tutor and use this book with my students, particularly the higher ability ones. I would not say that this book would be appropriate for every child but those who are interested in Maths and are aspiring for higher levels and more, this is a very good book.

I have been using this book with my child and it does help them improve and understand their school work better, and helps them with practicing at home. Will definitely purchase the next level up when they go to their new class. I am using it for a year 5 child at the moment.
