Personal Description:
My name is Barbara, I am a professional actor and drama tutor based in Edinburgh. I have been a professional actor in theatre, film and TV for over ten years, and spent 5 years teaching drama workshops with children and young people in the community.
My philosophy about drama is that it should be fun. Performing is all about expressing yourself, you should enjoy the process.

Tutoring Approach:
I teach one-to-one; I can come to your home, depending on where you live in Edinburgh, or you can visit me for private tuition, I work in a flexible way, for beginners and upwards, I'm not a hard task-master but if you want a challenge, I can do that too!
One-to-one workshops for those seeking to improve their verbal and written skills; or to increase confidence; working with literature and texts.
For young people aged 12 and up who want help with preparing audition speeches, extra revision with their Drama exams.
For beginners into the profession or for those preparing for entry to drama school; choosing and analysing texts, exploring characters, preparing for auditions, the business-side of the profession.
