Personal Description:
I have a long experience giving private lessons. The main subjects I have taught in the past are Spanish, French (both my native languages) and philosophy (having recently graduated from a second MA in Paris with honors). Although I am not a native English speaker, I have recently taken the IELTS exam, and almost achieved a perfect score (8.5).
Teaching Experience:
I have prepared many people for important French examinations (such as the acceptance to Sciences-Po) with a fair amount of success. I have also had many foreign students from the Sorbonne who wanted to improve their academic results.
Although I have usually given lessons to adults and university students, I have a fair amount of experience with high school pupils.
Tutoring Approach:
I have worked many times as a translator, which, I think, has always given my lessons a different approach to teaching a foreign language. I tend to work extensively on literary texts with my students, always giving priority to their personal preferences.
