Personal Description:

Having completed a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering at Southampton University I have detailed knowledge of Maths and Physics, which having only recently completed the education cycle can apply and teach competently within the sphere of A levels and GCSE's and beyond. I am currently living in Southampton to to pursue a career in Aerospace, but willing to spend time teaching young and old the beauty of science.



Teaching Experience:

Having only just completed a 4 year degree I have limited professional teaching experience but from school upwards I have been a tutor/teacher in many disciplines from lecturing young RAF cadets in varieties of skills outside of the academic range to helping younger relatives and friends pass GCSE's, A-Levels and entrance exams.



Tutoring Approach:

Slowing down - most people I have helped need little encouragement to learn once the time is taken to explain all the details that get glazed over in classroom situations. Patience and common sense are the two most important things for potential exam candidates and I try to teach them the methods and foibles of the examination processes to relieve that pre-exam stress (which I regard as the only reason for ANY person not to fulfil their potential in the sciences)
