Information About Cynthia:
Personal Description:
My name is Cynthia and I am studying Politics and International Relations at the University of Manchester as an International Student. I come from Montreal, Canada and French is my first language. I love tutoring, I find it enriching in both ways because I really like to share my passion of the French language and I always learn a lot from my tutees.
Teaching Experience:
I have been a tutor of French as a second language for 5 years and of French as a first language for 3 year. Moreover, I am a French teacher at the International Society of the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan Unversity and Salford University. I am also the co-founder and chair of the University of Manchester Francophone Society (UMFS) which provides French classes and discussion group opportunities to its 170 members.
Tutoring Approach:
I can easily adapt my way of teaching to the way of learning of my tutees. I do my best to try to connect the learning material to familiar things to facilitate the assimilation of the language.
