Personal Description:
I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate of King's College, London; having also undertaken CELTA and PTLLS qualifications. I have somewhat long-since held an interest in teaching, and see tuition as being an almost ideal field of practice for one looking to impart knowledge to others. Having previously tutored both to a group as well as individuals, I can appreciate the unique nature and benefits that one-to-one tuition offers.
Teaching Experience:
I have tutored both on a one-to-one basis, as well as to a group as part of a government-funded scheme in Kilburn, London.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe effective tuition requires one to tailor the style of approach to the specific needs of the tutee. Everyone is different, so it's a matter for the tutor to identify just how the student would be most receptive to the information being imparted. Whether it's a matter of building confidence in the subject, or approaching a certain concept from a different angle, I believe one should tailor the method of teaching to the specific needs of the one being taught.
