Personal Description:
I originally come from Shanghai, China. I studied at Newcastle University, majoring in MA Interpreting and Translating.
I have been living in the UK for 4 years now.
I had some tutees mainly adults who interested in learning Chinese while l was doing my bachelor degree in Shanghai. I use various ways to teach, it normally combines listening, speaking, reading and writing activities.
Teaching Experience:
Presently, I am tutoring two University students and am well received.
Although my current tutorial focus is on primary and secondary age groups, I welcome students from all age groups who do feel that they need some private tuition.
I also specialize in teaching kids from mixed families (one parent speaks English and the other speaks Chinese).
I can provide references upon request.
Tutoring Approach:

According to my student's need I tailor the lessons by increasing certain activities, along with Chinese culture and customs explained.
I focus on conversation practice a lot, from everyday phrases, short sentences, to long sentences. I believe Chinese can be easily learned if there is a clear sentence structure, speaking patterns and situational dialogue.
