Information About Shaun:
Personal Description:
I am a friendly, easy going person from Newcastle. I love travelling and have travelled around the world. I love teaching and helping people learn and I hope this comes through when I teach.
Teaching Experience:
I currently work as an English and A-level Media Studies Teacher in a secondary school in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I have three years teaching experience. I am also studying a Masters in Teaching and Learning.
Tutoring Approach:
I take an interactive approach to tutoring. I try to install the necessary tools in people to enable them to learn about their learning. I try to not dictate or simply talk at people. I assume the role of facilitator with the aim of bringing out the learning as this has greater long term benefits.
