Charlotte - Brighton tutor
Information About Charlotte:
Personal Description:
I am an e-learning designer by profession and graduated with a first-class neuroscience degree last year. I'm fun and friendly, but bring a lot of focus to my work.
Teaching Experience:
I provided teaching support to a class of year seven art students in a secondary school for a year on a weekly basis.
I've also been a biology tutor to an A-level student for the last 2 months and am enjoying it so much that I'd like to take on more.
Tutoring Approach:
I'll look closely at your sylabus and identify exactly what you need to learn. Before any lesson we'll talk about any concepts or techniques you're finding hard to master, or any specific help you need before you can hand in a piece of work.
My tutoring technique is perfect for visual learners - people who are able to learn and remember information using pictures, colours and cue cards. Difficult concepts are also broken down into chunks so they are easier to learn and keep in your mind.
Before the end of each lesson you'll have a very short quiz to help reinforce what you've learnt. This will also show up things that either you need to work on, or that you have learnt well and should take confidence from.
You might also need help with exam technique - I can spend time helping you develop these with tailored exercises.
