Personal Description:

I am a professional musician and play in bands such as Cherry Ghost and Elbow. I have also written and recorded music for many TV programmes and other media. I play Trumpet, Piano and Guitar.



Teaching Experience:

I have had several private trumpet pupils over the years and can also teach Piano, Guitar and Music Theory. I would also like to teach computer based music recording and have marked A level music technology papers for several years. I specialise in Cubase.



Tutoring Approach:

I have enjoyed the teaching that I have done and my pupils have achieved excellent results sometimes in short spaces of time. I think that it is essential that lessons are enjoyable and I suppose I take basically an informal approach though with an emphasis on student practice and hard work being essential to any improvement.
