Personal Description:
I am a student from Germany currently doing Arabic and Turkish language courses at the University of Birmingham. I completed my A-levels 3 years ago with the main subjects Further Maths, Art (theoretical and applied), German and History and worked as a nurse afterwards in the University-clinic of Essen until I moved to Birmingham. Since my studies of medicine will continue next autumn I took a year off to gain some experience abroad.
Teaching Experience:
During my A-levels and the years after I constantly was a tutor of maths for different students of all ages and levels.
Tutoring Approach:
I am sure there is a pleasant way to learn a subject for everyone. Even students that hate a subject can enjoy learning when it is explained from a different point of view and with another (maybe uncommon) approach towards it. I recognised during previous tutoring that it is sometimes just the way things are taught in school, which does not suit a students way of thinking.
