Personal Description:
I am a fully qualified ESOL tutor with over 5 years experience at all levels and ages - from complete beginner to university level.
Until very recently, I have been working at a local college teaching ESOL students from around the world.
I can also give you advice about CV's, University entrance and living and working in the UK.
I understand the challenges that learning another language can present as I also speak fluent Italian and basic French.
Teaching Experience:
I began teaching English to business people in Mantova, Italy in 2003.
When I returned to the UK, I immediately started working in a local FE college where I also completed my Level 4 Subject Specialist ESOl qualification. Here, I prepared learners for both Cambridge and Trinity examinations.
I have a wealth of experience - teaching learners from all walks of life, from Asylum Seekers to migrant workers to people who have come to the UK to be with their husband or wife.
My experience in teaching different levels ranges from total beginners to proficient users of the language.
Tutoring Approach:
I am results-driven, and have a wide variety of resources and ideas in order to make learning English fun and fast. I will provide you with whatever aspect of English you need - from conversation to grammar and everything in between.
Because everybody learns differently, we will liaise together and create a learning plan that suits your educational needs.
