Information About Francois:


Personal Description:

Born in Paris in 1982. Raised in Saintes a town in the South West of France, near La Rochelle. I went to study History at University . Then moved to Bristol, UK where i worked as a french assistant for 5 years at the prestigious Bristol Cathedral School.
I am also an artist and musician. I play guitar, piano, and trumpet and do watercolour paintings. I have played and toured in many different professional and unsigned bands.



Teaching Experience:

I worked as a full time french assistant at the Bristol Cathedral School between 2003 and 2007.
I focused mostly on improving the pupils conversational skills.
I also helped the A-level students in their research and gave them an insight of french culture and traditions.
I am experienced to run a group of pupils as well as one to one tuition.
I did some extra work in the Library to help the pupils with their homework.



Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is to put the pupil in confidence. I think the most important point in learning a language is to communicate an idea, no matter how good your french is.
I start from what you already know and from there we grow knowledge of vocabulary, grammar and expressions according to your needs.
