Information About Robert:


Personal Description:

I am a professional bass player and have been playing for over 10 years. I have played in many different bands and also sessioned for many different choirs and groups, which has taken me all over the UK as well as internationally.
I am currently music director for a large South London church.



Teaching Experience:

I have 2 years experience teaching drumming and electric bass to students of varying abilities and ages ranging from primary to adult.

My qualifications include GCSE Music and HND in Music Technology.



Tutoring Approach:

I have a fairly relaxed teaching style where I focus on the musical development and overall musicianship of my students.
Areas covered include techniques, rudiments and performance.

I like to expose students to a wide range of genres which I find helps to increase their music appreciation but also extends their musical vocabulary.

**please note for drumming lessons this can only take place at students homes - students own drum kit is essential**
