Personal Description:
I am a cheerful and enthusiastic individual with unique training in the areas of teaching drama and english to young children.
Teaching Experience:
I have been trained at the Unversity of Cambridge and whilst there had several placements in the state sector traing to teach and observing both children and teachers. Since then I have found emplyment at Brighton and Hove High School, the Junior department as a part time teachers assistant, and part time drama teacher for key stage 1. Within these private lessons I specialise on speaking and listening techniques through interactive story-which mainly includes Shakespearian tales.
Tutoring Approach:
As a result of my training I tend to use drama as a tool to teach in any subject. Even in teaching mathamatics I have seen excellent results when children are so thoroughly engaged in a dramatic activity they barely notice that they are even doing sums!
