Personal Skills
I am a hard working, presentable and reliable young lady. I am prepared for, and look forward to, a challenge in my working life. I enjoy variety and challenges and believe that sustained hard work and dedication will help achieve job satisfaction and personal development. Whilst being able to work independently, I also have good inter-personal and social skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
Teaching Experience:
I have also worked as a teaching assistant with Young Enterprise North East, delivering one of its Primary programmes. It was a great experience and I thoroughly enjoyed working with young people.
A similar, behind the scene, experience was to work as a general assistant for the West End Youth Enquiry Service. It was an informative and formative experience as this was an underprivileged area of Newcastle and I was able to witness the needs of the young people living here and become aware of the assistance that could be given to them.
I am also hoping to start my role as a SETPOINT ambassador role for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in schools and colleges in the North East Region.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe teaching is very much a student centred approach. Each student is an individual. That is what gives the personal tutor the responsibility to attend to the needs of the individual that is learning.
